Blue Monk - Abbey Lincoln & Coleman Hawkins (by Manga Charlus)

some doin

This was a Chalk Walk in Palm Springs. I am very partial to angels. The event took place a few weeks ago and was a pleasant way to spend the day listening to music or  have a beer.

I like the colors in this photo. Originally the message on the board is what attracted me. This is a religious thrift store in Desert Hot Springs.

Hip clip

The first store with the soft sales was the ever loving hands free accessories, with magnets.

Exotic lamps

One store at the Monteray Ave (collage campus) open air market. At first sight I knew this was something I must have. God willing.

Acquired mystery

The day started out with a plan. To get out from the homestead and see the open air market and hear the music with the possible purchase of a household item. Well it was a perfect day in Palm Desert, my area was cold and dealing with high winds. 2o+ miles a cup of coffee found me among the early birds surveying friendly stores under canvas for my treasure. Choices, something I have plenty of or fate brought me to a gentle older man with white hair (or so it seemed) that had precious stones and other items. I came away with a small package, often the case, when buying for myself and not for home. Carborundum crystal and my totem (only in my head). The dark colorful carborundum is still a mystery, or at least I am seeking more information. It serves it purpose. I look to remind me to be positive and leave my negative thoughts far from me so my moving forward with the aid of my personal invocations. Life is good. Today my stone are glued elementary school style on rings. Keeping me centered and smiling. Angel blessings on all.

Angel invocation or prayer

My choice, no drugs, not even a drop of the vine (sigh). The many concerns in life I give them up and stay thankful for what I have and can do.
